Conflict of exe files in WIN XP or WIN 7

Conflict of exe files:

                If you are beginners of the computer or average of the computer user, definitely you face this problem. Yes it’s a major problem without knowing the software knowledge.

Here the some example of the extensions program running in your windows operating system.

• .exe=exefile
• .lnk=lnkfile
• .zip=WinRAR.ZIP
• .xhtml=xhtmlfile

• Once I am used my desktop because of document preparation, that time I was selected .doc file open to .pdf and also I apply all the files to open this extension.
• Suddenly all the files change adobe reader symbols. This is a conflict of your file extension. That is the reason I can’t open anything in my operating system. Here you will see how to correct this issue.
• Open run window (CTRL+R), type “CMD”. While I am facing this issue, open command prompt not working. So what we do,
• Open “C” drive go to windows folder
• And select system32 search cmd program file is there.
• Open cmd program file as administrator. And type “ASSOC .EXE”. The result will be shown in .exe=exefile (see below screen shot)
• If you get wrong extension of your exe file, just correct it. Type “ASSOC .EXE=EXEFILE”. (See my below screen shot).

CAPTURE YOUR SCREEN IN WINDOW 7 OR 8

Many people using the windows operating system, but they don’t know what is the option are in windows. Here I will show how to get screen capture in windows, without third party software.

First of all, there are two types of screen capturing options in windows 7.

• Snipping tool
• Print screen

Snipping tool:

                In start menu, go to accessories and select snipping tool. In snipping window, select new option. There is a four type options. The options are below,

• Free-from strip
• Rectangular snip
• Window snip
• Full screen snip

These all are including in new button options.

Free from snip:

                This option selects the window from free hand sketch type.

Rectangular snip:

                If you want select the rectangular type screen capture, using this option. It will take rectangular screen capture.

Window snip:

                It will select particular window without taskbar.

Full screen snip:

                It will automatically capture the full screen.

AND THE OTHER ONE PRINT SCREEN:

• This option is easy to use. In your keyboard, there is one key in prtscr/sysrq (near the scroll lock key). For example if you are using some software, it will show the error in sometimes, that time it will help you.
• If you want to take the screen shot, just press the button (prtscr/sysrq). And open the mspaint and press CTRL+V.
• That’s all.

How to access the properties of LAN connection in WIN XP and WIN 7 or 8

Prohibit access to properties of LAN connection

                In my office, my administrator was disabling my LAN properties and LAN configuration. And lot of searching and lot time to find the way for enable this properties. Here I will explain this part.

Group policy:

                Administrator might have turned off and turned on certain settings from group policy. Group policy is a future to access the system settings. If you need to access the setting, the administrator only done this.

How to access the group policy:

• In start menu, Go to accessories and select command prompt.
• In the command prompt, type “GPEDIT.MSC”
• Now you’re in group policy editor. In that window, go to user configuration. And select administrator template.
• Then select network, and select network connection.
• The following settings are enabled by administrator. So you have to change this option to NOT CONFIGURED.
• Prohibit access to properties of a LAN connection
• Prohibit access to properties of components of LAN connection
• Enable windows 2000 network connections settings for administrator
• If you are enable the properties, that not a matter. You want to know about the IP address for your LAN connection to access the internet, otherwise this only for stuff work.
• These all are blocked by administrator. I am also finding the answer to access this option. But be careful, if you’re caught by your administrator, you are the culprit.
